College of the Siskiyous' expanded non credit courses starting
The College of the Siskiyous Yreka campus will soon be offering a number of community education and noncredit courses. Director of Noncredit and Community Education Kim Freeze noted that these classes offer a no pressure, fun and relaxed environment in which to learn.

This spring the COS Administration of Justice Program is offering many courses, both online and in the classroom, to begin your career in the field of Criminal Justice.

Winter Weather Reminder - Stay Connected with COS
COS wants to remind all students to sign up for our alert communication system COS Connect powered by Everbridge. This is a free system we use to notify students and staff of emergency situations, campus closures, or general student information. Sign up today! Additionally, announcements are broadcast on local radio stations (Z100, KSYC, KSIZ) and television stations (KOBI, KTVL, KDRV, KRCR). Messages will also be posted on the COS facebook page and college home page.


2017 Year-End Tax Forms
W-2's (employees) and 1098-T's (students) will be available by January 31, 2018. Notification will be sent once the forms are ready for distribution.

Registration for Spring Semester Classes is Open
Registration for the 2018 spring semester at COS is open. Register early for the classes you want and need. Spring semester begin January 30

COS Men's and Women's Basketball vs. Butte College
The COS Men's and Women's Basketball teams will play Butte College on Saturday, January 20 at 2:00 pm (Men) and 4:00 pm (Women) in the COS Weed Campus Gym. Go Eagle's!

COS Foundation Scholarship Applications Now Available
The COS Foundation has opened its annual application period for students who plan to attend College of the Siskiyous during the 2018/2019 academic year. Applications are to be submitted by 4:00 pm on Thursday, March 15.

COS Theater to hold Auditions for Spring Play
The COS Performing Arts Department is seeking actors for their spring production of the hilarious farcical comedy, "Noises Off." Auditions will be held Tuesday, February 6, 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the Weed Campus Kenneth Ford Theater.
