COS Board of Trustees Meeting – March 6, 2018

In his staff report, Dr. Stephen Schoonmaker – Superintendent/President, shared with the Board of Trustees two very important initiatives currently under discussion at the Chancellor's Office: the 115th Online College and the new Funding Formula.

COS Releases 2017 Fall Semester Honor's List

College of the Siskiyous has released the 2017 fall semester honor's list for academic excellence. The lists are comprised of the President's List, which requires a full‐time registered student to achieve a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.75 to 4.00, and the Dean's List, requiring a GPA of 3.50 to 3.74 (also full‐time registered).

Graduation 2018
All COS students who plan to graduate in May 2018 must submit a completed "Petition to Graduate." Form and Information available at or from Counseling and Student Support Programs office. Priority deadline for submission is April 2.

2017 Year-End Tax Forms (W-2's and 1098-T's)
W-2's (employees) tax forms are now available online if you have given consent to receive your form electronically. If you have not given electronic consent, your W-2 tax form was mailed on January 30, 2018. 1098-T's (students) are now available. Log onto your mySiskiyous account and select the Billing & Financial Aid tab and scroll to "Tax Information."


Seeking Student Speaker for 2018 COS Graduation

COS students interested in becoming the student graduation speaker should apply now. April 11th is the last day to submit an application. Applications are available in the Admissions and Records Office at the Weed Campus.
