CHEM 1100 is designed to introduce students to the nomencalture, structure, properties and reactions of the major classes of organic compounds, carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins. This class meets the requirements for transfer into allied health programs and some biological science programs. The UC will accept a maximum of six units for CHEM 1000 and 1100 combined. Lab.
