This course is designed for the student who wants to become a creative writer and will provide a foundation for further exploration and practice in poetry, fiction, creative/nonfiction and drama. Through critical analysis of works written by notable writers, elements of literature, and examination of the writers-reader relationship, students will gain the tools to begin crafting their own creative works and to identify their voices as writers.
