World Civilizations Since 1450 will explore the history of world civilizations since contact between Europe and the Americas. Students will be asked to explore the interactions of technology, culture, religion, warfare, environment and politics as they traverse the histories of various civilizations, including Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas. Students will then be asked to place the histories of these civilizations into a global context. An emphasis will be placed on student interaction and the exploration of primary source materials.
