History of African Americans in the United States from colonial times to the present. Emphasis upon the social, economic and political events that reflect the histories of African Americans. Additional investigations into the unique influences of African Americans and their contributions to the development of the United States as Super Power in the 20 century. (AA, CSU, UC) Advisory: ENGL 0950 or qualification through assessment.
