Designed to increase student confidence in Mathematics. The topics are equivalent to those from the first half of Elementary Algebra, but the extended time frame allows for more in-class work and additional discussion of special applications and problems of historical interest. Topics include properties of and operations on real numbers, linear equations, linear systems, exponents and polynomials.
