Track and field

Yesterday afternoon, at the state track & field championships, we won two state championships.  In the women's javelin, Kelsey Shaw the nations leader, won the javelin event with a throw of 151'8 and Elijah Marta won the men's javelin with a throw of 214'5.  We are pretty confident this is the first time both champions are from the same college.
Also yesterday, at the halfway point of the men's decathlon Kendrick Murphy sits in second place with 3680 points 39 points behind the leader.  Five more events for Kendrick today.

Congratulation and good luck today.
