Matt Chambers signs national letter of intent to play baseball at Concordia University of Nebraska (NAIA). Matt comes to COS from Lakes High School. While at Siskiyous the left handed pitcher was used in a variety of roles including being a starting pitcher and also being used out of the bullpen as long relief and as a lefty specialist. Matt is joining two other Eagle baseball players next season Garrett Moore (INF) and Miles Barrow (OF) who signed with CUN earlier this spring. Matt will play for Head Coach Jeremy Giedel; the CUN Bulldogs compete in the GPAAC. Matt is originally from Lakewood Washington. Congratulations to Matt on his great accomplishment
David Lostra signs national letter of intent to play baseball at Mississippi Valley State University (NCAA Div.I) David Lostra came to COS from Elko High School and was a starting pitcher for the Eagles during his freshman season pitching a total of 66.1 innings. David will have three years left of athletic eligibility at MVSU because he had to take a medical redshirt this past season. David was a scholar-athlete and graduated with his AA degree in his two years at Siskiyous. David will be playing for Head Coach Doug Shanks and the MVSU Delta Devils who compete in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. David is originally from Elko, Nevada. Congratulations to David on his outstanding accomplishment.
Miles Barrow signs a national letter of intent for an athletic scholarship to attend Concordia University of Nebraska where he will be playing alongside COS teammate Garrett Moore who signed with CUN earlier in the year. Miles comes to COS from Yamhill, Oregon where he attended Yamhill Carlton High School. During Miles time he has been a model student-athlete for the Siskiyous' baseball team since arriving on campus where he is has been a three time COS scholar-athlete. Miles has received the coach’s award for outstanding leadership and this will be awarded along with three other players this year with team MVP. Miles will be playing outfield for Head Coach Jeremy Geidel and the Concordia Bulldogs who participate in the GPAAC. Congratulations to Miles for this outstanding accomplishment.
Garrett has played middle infield for COS the past two seasons. During his freshmen season he was a part of a double play combination that finished fourth in the state with double plays turned by a team and set a school record with 42. Garrett will play NAIA baseball for Coach Jeremy Geidel and the Concordia Bulldogs who play in GPAAC Conference. Garrett graduated high school from Spanish Springs in Sparks, NV.
Josh has pitched for COS for the past two seasons as a starter and as a relief pitcher. Josh will be playing NCAA Division I baseball for Coach Rob McCoy and the Niagara Purple Eagles who compete in the MAAC Conference. Josh graduated high school at Damonte Ranch in Reno, NV.

This weekend our baseball team traveled to Gilroy to play Gavilan College and came away with two wins in the three game series. They lost the first game 5 – 4 and then came back to win the next two games 5 – 3 and 22 – 18.

Our COS men's baseball team travels to Gilroy this weekend. On Friday, February 4th we'll play Gavilan at 11AM and 2PM. On Saturday we'll play Gavilan at 12PM.
College of the Siskiyous' sophomore baseball player Adam Miller signs national letter of intent today with Jacksonville State University. Adam graduated from Spanish Springs High School in Sparks Nevada. Adam was a second team all Golden Valley Conference selection last spring as an infielder. He was also selected to play in the Northern California Junior College baseball all-star showcase game this fall. Adam was a scholar athlete last year with a 3.47 GPA. He plans on majoring in Political Science and eventually would like to be a Supreme Court Judge.
Jacksonville State is a NCAA Division I baseball program that competes in the Ohio Valley Conference. Last season Jacksonville State competed in the NCAA Division I baseball regional championships at Auburn University.
