This course is an examination of the basic concepts of morality and values, representative ethical theories and their application to important contemporary moral problems. Topics may include abortion, suicide, euthanasia, gun control, homosexuality, affirmitive action, capital punishment, cloning humans and other biotech issues, the war on drugs, terrorism and our reponsibilities to the environment.
