Being successful in an online course requires a significant commitment from the student. Please take the two "Online Readiness" assessments to help you decide if online instruction is really for you. The first assessment looks at your "student" skills, and the second assessment examines your "technology" skill level. If you have already decided to take an online class, you should review the "Online Survival Guide." Also, be sure to e-mail your online instructor on or before the first day of class, so they can send you further information.
To register online, go to myNAVIGATOR. You may also register for a course through the normal process at the Weed or the Yreka campus. If you do not have access to either of these sites, you may do the following:
Counseling
If you would like to have help in selecting the course best suited for you, or if you would like to have help in formulating an educational plan anytime during the semester, you can receive online counseling by e-mailing counselingservices@siskiyous.edu.
If you plan to earn a bachelor’s degree, an associate degree, an occupational certificate, or if you are enrolling in a course with a prerequisite, you must meet with an advisor or counselor prior to registering . Visit the Counseling Services pages or the Distance Advising Procedures page for more information.
