The application period for the 2017-18 ADN class will begin on October 24, 2016 and end February 24, 2017.
The T.E.A.S. test will be offered during the application period at the Rural Health Sciences Institute building on the Yreka Campus. Dates currently scheduled are 11/2/16, 12/2/16, and 2/16/17. Call the nursing office to sign up.

Associate Degree Nursing (LVN-RN Step-Up) Program
Licensed Vocational Nurses have the opportunity to step up to RN at College of the Siskiyous' state-of-the-art Rural Health Science Institute. The program takes two semesters after completing a 3 unit Transition class during the summer session. Graduates from the program will receive an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing and be eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination-Registered Nursing (NCLEX-RN).
The program admits a new class once a year.
In addition to the college application, a special nursing program application is required. Access to the program application is available in the column to the left. Applicants to the ADN (LVN-RN Step-Up) Program must meet prerequisite and other degree requirements before application will be evaluated. Students must supply documentation that all requirements have been met. In order to determine if an applicant meets prerequisites and degree requirements for the program all official transcripts must be submitted.
It is the student's responsibility to confirm that all documents have been received by the program.
Applicants will be notified of acceptance during the spring semester prior to the beginning of the summer bridge course.
