Athletic Season Passes Now On Sale: 2016/2017 Basketball Season Passes are on sale. First home game is COS Women vs. Chabot College, November 18 at 5PM.

Register for Classes Year-Round with REG365: Registration for the 2017 spring semester is open. Register now to get the classes you want and need. The spring semester will begin January 17, 2017.

COS Holiday Craft Fair - The Craft Fair will be held Friday, December 2 and Saturday, December 3, 2016 in the COS Weed Campus Gymnasium. Vendor spaces are SOLD-OUT.

COS Music Department - Holiday Concert Schedule:

  • Orchestra Concert will be held Sunday, December 4 beginning at 3 p.m. in the COS Theater
  • Choir Concert will be held Sunday, December 11 beginning at 3 p.m. and at 7 p.m. in Mt. Shasta at the Seventh Day Adventist Church.  A concert will also be held Monday, December 12 at 7 p.m. in Yreka at the United Methodist Church.

COS Board of Trustees Monthly Meeting: The next COS Board of Trustees meeting will be held December 6, 2016 at the COS Weed Campus Board Room.  Closed session at 5 p.m. and open public session at 6 p.m.

Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) Pinning Ceremony: Thursday, December 15 beginning at 5 p.m. in the COS Theater. A reception will immediately follow.

Fall Semester Finals Week - December 12 - 15, 2016. Last day of the semester is December 15.

COS Campus Closed for Winter Break: The Weed and Yreka Campuses will be closed Friday, December 23, 2016 through Monday, January 2, 2017. Both campuses will reopen Tuesday, January 3, 2017. The spring semester will begin Tuesday, January 17.

Stay Connected with COS - Sign up for our Alert Communication System: COS uses an alerting system called Everbridge to stay connected with our students. This is a free system we use to notify students and staff of emergency situations, campus closures, or general student information. In order to receive alerts or other updates from COS you need to create an account by clicking on the ‘sign up’ link on the bottom of our COS Everbridge Portal. Within your Everbridge account you can specify which alerts, if any, to subscribe to in the Alert Subscription section.

Important Reminder for Students: To avoid being dropped from your classes, we encourage you to pay fees in full when enrolling or make payment arrangements by creating a contract with the COS Business Office.  Financial Aid can be considered when creating a contract to pay IF all required documents have been submitted to the Financial Aid Office. Stop by (or call (530) 938-5310(530) 938-5310) the COS Business Office with any questions.

Applications Available for SSS Program: The SSS Program application is available in hardcopy form from the Weed Campus SSS Office as well as online.  The Program offers a dedicated staff who are available to help with counseling, advising, progress follow-up, financial aid application assistance and numerous other services.

Census Reports Now Available Online: Students can check their progress by logging into their Navigator account.  Select your Student Tab and then the semester you want to view under your Student Grades channel to view academic progress.

NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI) Offering Expanded Course Offerings at COS in Spring 2017: The College will offer classes during the spring of 2017 through the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). See the NOLS WMI WEMT course schedule for more information.
