Student email access has changed! The link to your COS student email on Navigator has changed and no longer directly links to your Office 365 student email. Go to the student email section of the Getting Started with Navigator page for information and instructions.

Sign Up Today for our New Alert Communication System: COS has a new alerting system called Everbridge. This is a free emergency notification system COS uses when notifying students and staff of emergency situations, campus closures, or general student information. In order to receive alerts or other updates from COS you need to create an account by clicking on the ‘sign up’ link on the bottom of our COS Everbridge Portal. Within your Everbridge account you can specify which alerts, if any, to subscribe to in the Alert Subscription section.

It's Not too Late to Register for Late-Starting Spring Semester Classes: A number of late-starting classes will be starting in March and April. Check the searchable schedule to see what we are offering!!

RENT to Open March 13 on COS Stage: The 2015 Spring Musical is RENT.  The show will open Friday, March 13 at 7PM in the COS Weed Campus Theater.  Additional performances will be held Friday and Saturday evenings March 14, 20, and 21 at 7PM, and Sunday afternoons March 15 and 22 at 2PM.  Tickets are $12 General Admission and $8 Students/Seniors.

COS Speakers Series Presents - The Mt. Shasta Collection: Presented by Dennis Freeman on Thursday, March 19 beginning at 7:30PM in Building 3, Room 9 at the Weed Campus.  Free presentation.

COS Spring Break is March 30 - April 3: No classes will be held during the week of March 30 - April 3.  COS Business Offices will be open during the Spring Break week.

COS Board of Trustees Monthly Meeting: The next COS Board of Trustees meeting will be held April 7at the COS Weed Campus in the Board Room.  Closed session at 5PM and open public session at 6PM.

Registration for Summer / Fall 2015 Opens in April: Priority registration for summer / fall will begin Monday, April 20.  Open registration will begin Monday, April 27 at 8AM.

Women in STEM Event: Saturday, May 2.  More information to be posted soon.

Save the Date - COS Graduation is May 15: The 2015 COS Commencement Ceremony will be held Friday, May 15 beginning at 8PM in the COS Gymnasium.

COS Choirs to Present Spring Concert: The COS Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Chamber Choir, and Concert Choir will present a spring concert on Saturday, May 16 at 7PM and Sunday, May 17 at 3PM.

Applications Available for SSS Program: The SSS Program application is available in hardcopy form from the Weed Campus SSS Office as well as online.  The Program offers a dedicated staff who are available to help with counseling, advising, progress follow-up, financial aid application assistance and numerous other services.

Free Success Seminars at COS - Every student heads into college with the intention of achieving his or her goals. To help you gain the skills necessary to achieve your goals, the Academic Success Center has developed a series of 50 minute seminars which will help you build skills and confidence in a variety of areas.  Success Seminars are offered during the fall and spring semesters.

Census Reports Now Available Online: Students can check their progress by logging into their Navigator account.  Select
your Student Tab and then the semester you want to view under your Student Grades channel to view academic progress.

Important Reminder for Students: To avoid being dropped from your classes, we encourage you to pay fees in full when enrolling or make payment arrangements by creating a contract with the COS Business Office.  Financial Aid can be considered when creating a contract to pay IF all required documents have been submitted to the Financial Aid Office. Stop by (or call 938-5310) the COS Business Office with any questions.

NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI) Offering Expanded Course Offerings at COS in Spring and Summer 2015: The College will offer classes during the Spring/Summer of 2015 through the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). See the NOLS WMI WEMT course schedule for more information.
