The COS Athletics & PE Department, in conjunction with the COS Foundation, hosts an annual Golf Tournament to benefit the athletic programs. The athletics programs at community colleges are greatly underfunded and this is a way you can help and have fun at the same time.
68 golfers participated in the 19th Annual COS Golf Tournament on June 2, 2013. The funds we raised, over $5,000, play a vital role in maintaining a quality athletic program. The tournament is a true showcase for the spirit of our community.
The 20th annual Golf Tournament has been canceled for 2014. We plan to reschedule the tournament to be held summer 2015.
This event held at the Eagle’s Nest Resale Shop is scheduled for the last Saturday in May. Special sales, drawings, and a free hotdog lunch are all part of the day to celebrate our customers. The Eagle's Nest is located at 123 Main Street in Weed.
