College of the Siskiyous is located in the City of Weed, which is located half way between Medford (OR) and Redding (CA). The City was named after it's founder Abner Weed. All these cities are located on Interstate 5, which is one of the major freeways on the west coast of the United States and goes from California to Washington State.

Medford and Redding are both shopping and cultural centers. Ashland (OR) is another great place to visit in Oregon. It is the home of Southern Oregon University and also of the Shakespearean theater.

Siskyou County has small towns that provide shopping or activities. You can go to Yreka which is actually the largest town in Siskiyou County. There there are movie theaters, shopping centers, and other attractions.

There is lots of things that you can do in and around Weed or Mount Shasta and the area Ski Park, which is open through out the year.
