The Upward Bound experience is demanding but the learning environment of Upward Bound will provide you with the guidance to meet those challenges. Your teachers and counselor will come to know your academic and personal strengths and will help you reach your full potential. Throughout the program, your assigned advisor will meet with you to discuss academic and personal issues. In the summer, students participate in a six-week residential component. If selected, you will live in one of College of the Siskiyous' lodges and will be supervised by a team of advisors. You will take classes in math, science, literature, writing and foreign language as well as college courses you select. You will also have time to participate in weekly social activities, community service, and cultural activities.
