College of the Siskiyous is Open Remotely! COVID-19 Resources available below:

At this time, access to the Weed Campus is restricted to essential Siskiyous personnel, and currently enrolled students who live on campus or require technological assistance.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Summer and Fall 2020 face-to-face courses could, at any time, be converted to Remote Instruction or Canceled. Access to technology (computer, internet and web cam) is highly recommended for all classes.


Gerri Fedora, Retired Faculty and Director of Nursing at COS Recognized as Emeritus Faculty
It is indeed a significant moment in the life of a College when the Faculty recommend the elevation of one of their retired members to Emeritus status.

Coaching Legend, Tom Powers, Retires After 38 Years at College of the Siskiyous
After spending the past 38 years coaching basketball, volleyball, and as full-time teaching faculty at College of the Siskiyous, Tom Powers will officially retire May 25.

Steve Pyles Named New COS Cross Country Coach
Steve Pyles, who has been the assistant track and field coach at COS since 2017 will take over for Katie Woodward, who was the head XC coach for the past two years.


COS Board of Trustees Meeting
The next monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees will be held Tuesday, June 2. Closed session will begin at 5:00 pm followed by open public session at 6:00 pm. View Board agenda.

Drive up Textbook Rental Returns
Wednesday, June 3 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Return your Bookstore spring semester textbook rentals to the Weed Campus - Parking Lot E (Gym/Baseball Field Parking Lot).

Registration for 2020 Summer Session and Fall Semester is Open
View the 2020 summer session and fall semester schedule online. Registration is currently open. Summer session has begun with many late starting classes also scheduled.

COS Open Monday - Thursday, Closed on Friday (Summer 2020)
During the summer services will be available Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (closed on Fridays through August 7). Visitors to the campus offices and grounds are asked to make an appointment, with the exception of those who are coming to use the newly re-opened Bear Trail, Disc Golf Course, and Track. Visitors interested in a campus tour should contact Basecamp HQ to schedule an appointment by calling (530) 938-5376.
