Book Voucher Information

We encourage all students to obtain course materials in advance to be best set up for success. Book vouchers are offered to bridge the gap between the first day of class and the first disbursement of aid during the semester.

If you anticipate delays or difficulty purchasing textbooks please visit Basecamp in the Learning Resource Center. Staff can help you complete a voucher request in order to get your books from the bookstore.

If you will not be on campus soon, give them a call at (530) 938-5376 for assistance.

If a voucher is not available, there are a few alternatives you can pursue:

• Basecamp has information on assistance available through the Siskiyou Promise program for eligible students.
• Book services and other support is provided by the Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) for students who qualify. More detail on the services they provide can be found on the EOPS Services page.
• Most text books are available for use in the COS Library.
• Contact your instructor. Some instructors may have old editions of books or know of a different way to assist you.
