Engineering is a profession in which knowledge of the mathematical and natural sciences is applied to develop ways to use the materials and forces of nature economically for the benefit of humanity. The Engineering curriculum also academically prepares the student to transfer to a four-year university to complete a Baccalaureate degree in a related field.

A few of these require an associate degree, most require a bachelor’s degree, and some require a graduate level degree: technician, engineer's assistant, civil engineer, urban planner, biomedical engineer, electronics engineer, computer engineer, software designer, telecommunications specialist, computer architect, test engineer, environmental engineer, soil engineer, aerospace engineer, CADD specialist, produce engineer, estimator, technical sales representative, construction manager, and general contractor.
