It is important to have a plan to how you are going to pay for College. Going to Community College first is a great first step! Students save thousands of dollars when they choose a CCC over going straight to a CSU/UC or Private college.

How much does college really cost? Understanding the costs at College of the Siskiyous (tuition, fees, books, etc.) and when payments are due, what payment plans are available will help you develop a strategy to better manage paying for college.
The first step to pay for college is to submit a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) application or the CA Dream Act Application. This will gain you access to applying for additional funds such as grants, loans, and work-study programs. It also enables you to apply for our own Foundation Scholarship program.
