Paying for College

It is important to have a plan to how you are going to pay for College.  Going to Community College first is a great first step!  Students save thousands of dollars when they choose a CCC over going straight to a CSU/UC or Private college.

There are many resources out there  to assist students with the cost of going to school.  Here are some we recommend you check out.

First Step: Submit your FAFSA or California Dream Act

The first step to pay for college is to submit a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) application or the CA Dream Act Application. This will gain you access to applying for additional funds such as grants, loans, and work-study programs.  It also enables you to apply for our own Foundation Scholarship program.
