ComFit Learning is our new online supplemental instruction component that is individual to the student and available 24/7. Within ComFit, you will have a chance to build your writing, reading, and mathematic skills on a personal level. There is no rush with ComFit, you can work at your own pace, in your own space, and truly learn the material. No matter the learning type, the program will explain the same concept in various ways to be sure that you understand the material. Once you have taken 3 separate assessments, the program will suggest concepts that you may need to work on. You will also be given the opportunity to choose concepts that you personally know that you need practice with. It is very important that you seriously take your time on the assessments in order to gain the maximum benefits of this program. In other words, do your best! We are really excited to offer ComFit, we know that you will take advantage of this opportunity to work on you academic skills.

  • Etna High - Monday-Thursday: Lunch
  • Mount Shasta High- Monday & Wednesday: 12:30 - 2:30
  • Tulelake High - Tuesday & Thursday: 4:00 - 6:00
  • Weed High - Monday - Friday: Lunch

stipend schedule

All UB students have the opportunity to earn up to 4 checks during the academic year. There is only one way stipends can be earned this year; you must participate in ComFit. Listed below are the dates and requirements to earn your stipends. Each stipend check is worth up to $26; similar to the summer program stipends, your stipend check will reflect the amount of participation you put in. Reminder emails of deadlines and individual progress will be sent continuously. You are welcome to use the website as much as you like; you are not limited to the requirements of the stipends. If you have questions or need clarification, don't hesitate to send an email our way.

FALL 2011
Stipend Assignment 1 - October 2nd - November 5th
    Complete 2 assessments
Stipend Assignment 2 - November 6th - December 10th
    Complete 1 assessment and 5 workouts of your choice

SPRING 2012
Stipend Assignment 3 - January 1st - March 3rd
    Earn 13hrs of completed workouts with a minimum of 10 workouts
Stipend Assignment 4 - March 4th - April 30th
    Earn 13hrs of completed workouts with a minimum of 10 workouts
