Any person who meets one of the following requirements is eligible to attend College of the Siskiyous:
Apply to be a student at College of the Siskiyous by filling out an application using OpenCCC Apply.
Many people do not realize that they qualify for Financial Aid benefits, so we recommend that everyone apply. Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to get started.
The FAFSA helps determine whether students are eligible for Federal loans, grants, or work-study programs.
What you will need:
Note: The FAFSA asks about 100 questions and can take about 30 minutes to fill out. If you gather all of the documents you need ahead of time, it will be much easier and faster.
After you complete the FAFSA, allow 5-7 business days for the Financial Aid Office to process your application. Check the status of your application by logging into the mySiskiyous student portal and clicking on the Billing & Financial Aid tab.
