Mt. Shasta Area Student Wins Regional Skills USA Competition
Bailey Burnett, a Mount Shasta High School senior who takes welding at College of the Siskiyous, recently placed 1st in a regional Skills USA competition and will be moving on to the State finals to be held April 19-22 in Ontario.

COS Receives Notice of Continued Affirmation of Accreditation
At its meeting held January 10‐12, 2018, the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC), reviewed the Follow‐Up Report and related evidentiary materials submitted by College of the Siskiyous.

COS Baseball Goes 2-1 at SF to Improve to 7-2
The College of the Siskiyous baseball team continued its strong start to the season by going 2-1 on the road against City College of San Francisco over the weekend.

College of the Siskiyous Offers Free Culinary Arts Class in Yreka
The College of the Siskiyous Yreka campus is offering a non credit culinary arts and hospitality course that will take place at the Kahtishraam Wellness Center in Yreka on Tuesdays from 5 p.m.–8 p.m.

National Signing Day: Siskiyous Football Players Moving On
Today is National Signing Day for football and College of the Siskiyous head coach Charlie Roche provided the following list of where some of the Eagles are going next year:

2017 Year-End Tax Forms (W-2's and 1098-T's)
W-2's (employees) tax forms are now available online if you have given consent to receive your form electronically. If you have not given electronic consent, your W-2 tax form was mailed on January 30, 2018. 1098-T's (students) are now available. Log onto your mySiskiyous account and select the Billing & Financial Aid tab and scroll to "Tax Information."

COS Foundation Scholarship Applications Now Available
The COS Foundation has opened its annual application period for students who plan to attend College of the Siskiyous during the 2018/2019 academic year. Applications are to be submitted by 4:00 pm on Thursday, March 15.

2018 CCCAA Women's Basketball Northern CA Regionals – Round 2 Playoff Game Friday Night in Weed
College of the Siskiyous #7 Seed (24-4) will be hosting a Round 2 Playoff game vs. San Joaquin Delta #10 Seed (18-10) on Friday, February 23 at 7:00 pm in the Weed Campus Gymnasium. Advance tickets may be purchased from the Weed Campus Bookstore Tuesday, February 20 – Thursday, February 22, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. On Friday, February 23, tickets will be sold at the door beginning at 6:15 pm.

COS Baseball to Play Lassen College in Home Opener
The COS Baseball team will host Lassen College on February 23 (1:00 pm) and February 24 (11:00 am and 2:00 pm) at the Weed Campus Baseball Field. Go Eagle's!
